Week 1 — Objective: Build Rally Stability Under Pressure

Players should finish the week able to maintain controlled rallies even when tempo changes.

Focus skills:

  • Tempo control (height + depth)

  • Defensive resets

  • Consistency from the back

  • Basic anticipation

Week 2 — Objective: Develop Overhead With Tactical Purpose

Not just “hit a bandeja”, but why and where.

Focus skills:

  • Bandeja placement

  • Recovering to net

  • Choosing the right overhead for the situation

Week 3 — Objective: Strengthen Attacking Patterns

Players should understand how to build pressure, not just rush the net.

Focus skills:

  • Transitioning from defence to attack

  • Net pressure

  • Switching with partner

  • Forcing weak replies

Week 4 — Objective: Build a Solid Defensive Structure

This week is about calm, organised defence rather than panic hitting.

Focus skills:

  • Glass use under pressure

  • Resetting the point

  • Pair movement

  • Staying compact as a team

Week 5 — Objective: Improve Tactical Decision Making

Players should start choosing the right shot, not the hardest shot.

Focus skills:

  • Pattern recognition

  • Momentum management

  • Shot selection in key moments

  • Reading opponents’ intentions

Week 6 — Objective: Apply Everything in Competitive Play

This week ties the whole course together.
